THE ART OF DESIGN

Art and Design are very easy to confuse if you don't take time to understand them.

Both terms are deeply rooted in creative expression--but where they differ is PURPOSE.

Art is about individual expression. Its all about visualizing your innermost feelings to see them for yourself--OR to share with the world IF you choose to. However, Design goes a step further.  Design is also about visualizing your creativity. But at it's core, Design's is intentional and sharing your creativity for the benefit of other people.

​ART:

Is expressing your love for your celebrity crush in a sketchbook,

as you practice drawing their picture, over and over, again. 

​​

DESIGN:

Is when you plan and draw one amazing illustration of your celebrity crush. BUT you do it for a paycheck

and on a deadline. You do it that way because the record label that pays "your baby" needs that image on posters, shirts, and mugs before your crush's first official tour date. ​That way, the most possible superfans get to enjoy your crush, through your work!

 

BUT this is the best part: Designing Fan-Art of your crush becomes your full-time job...

Now, Art and Design are happening at the same time.

And that's the sweet spot.
